2025 Season Opens with Pre-Season Test at NOLA

Nearly 30 Drivers Expected to Participate in Two-Day Test at NOLA Motorsports Park

AVONDALE, La. (March 9, 2025) – With the 2025 race season just weeks away, a dozen teams and nearly 30 drivers are set to attend a two-day test at NOLA Motorsports Park, March 10-11. Gathering entrants from all three series on Parella Motorsports Holdings’ (PMH) open-wheel ladder, the two-day event will provide drivers with plenty of track time, while allowing teams to take care of some of the “housekeeping” items that accompany each new season, like licensing and registration, as well as annual technical inspections.

“It doesn’t seem like all that long ago that we crowned our champions at the Circuit of The Americas last November, but a new season is already here,” said Scott Goodyear, Race Director. “Many of the drivers and teams go testing over the winter, but the great thing about a pre-season test is that it’s the first time most of them are on the track together to gauge themselves against their competition. We have to thank Eric Jensen for spearheading the test and giving everyone this opportunity. With championship prizes and scholarships on the line, now is the time to start focusing on the 2025 season.”

A combined effort between JENSEN and PMH, a dozen teams are expected to participate in the test, including: JENSEN, Ava Hanssen Racing, Berg Racing, Cará Origin Motorsports, Champagne Racing, Crosslink Motorsports, Kiwi Motorsport, LC Racing Academy, RASE Motorsports, Scuderia Buell, Team Roberts Racing and Toney Driver Development.

Series partners Ligier Automotive and Hankook Motorsports will both be at the test, as Ligier services teams with their parts truck and Hankook provides on-site tire support.

The Pre-Season Test at NOLA Motorsports Park kicks off tomorrow at 9 a.m. CT.
