CHARLOTTE (November 26, 2024) – Callum Hedge will make the move to ABEL Motorsports for the 2025 INDY NXT season. Kicking off his sophomore year in the series, Hedge will continue to pilot the No. 17—the same number he ran while competing in Formula Regional Americas Championship (FR Americas) just two years ago.
Making his INDY NXT debut last season with HMD Motorsports, Hedge tallied eight top 10s, five top fives, a podium at the Detroit Grand Prix, and finished fourth in the drivers’ championship standings.
Following the final checkered flag of 2024, Hedge gained familiarity with his new ABEL Motorsports team during the two INDY NXT series tests at Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Barber Motorsports Park. He will join teammates Yuven Sundaramoorthy and Myles Rowe at the powerhouse team for 2025.
The 2025 INDY NXT season kicks off on the Streets of St. Petersburg, Fla., on March 2.
