Kiwi Motorsport and Jett Bowling Set to Tackle Macau Grand Prix

November 13, 2024 – Kiwi Motorsport, the multi-time FR Americas championship-winning program, is set to make its Macau Grand Prix debut with Jett Bowling. Receiving an invitation from the FIA to compete at the November 15-17 event as part of the FR World Championships, Kiwi Motorsport and Bowling have been hard at work putting together the best program possible to prepare for the historic street race.

“I am honored that Kiwi Motorsport has received an invitation to compete in Macau,” explained Garry Orton. “Macau fits in well with our New Zealand and North American programs, and taking drivers to compete across the globe is something that we have aimed to do for a long time. To have Jett be our first driver at the Macau Grand Prix is special for all of us.”

Bowling has been competing worldwide while preparing for Macau, including in the United States under the Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport banner. Already racing FRECA in Barcelona and Monza, Bowling and Kiwi Motorsport chose this program to utilize the same car he will drive in Macau. Additionally, Jett is gaining experience with the Pirelli Tire to help him prepare for the historic event.

“I am taking this program seriously and will not underestimate the challenge ahead of me,” explained Bowling. “Macau is a legendary event, and it will be my first ever street race. I am looking forward to it. I'm a little anxious and a little nervous, but I can’t wait to get on track.”

Orton continued, “We will be the first team that has competed at the two Grand Prix’s outside the FIA Formula One calendar. With the New Zealand Grand Prix, a staple on our schedule due to the Formula Regional Oceania Championship, we are happy to add Macau Grand Prix participant to our resume.”
