
ELKHART LAKE, Wis. (May 17, 2024) – Patrick Woods-Toth (No. 27 Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport Ligier JS F3) secured the pole position for Formula Regional Americas Championship (FR Americas) at the Road America SpeedTour. Already a winner at the historic Elkhart Lake, Wis. track, Woods-Toth earned two victories in Formula 4 United States Championship (F4 U.S.) competition last season before going on to win the F4 U.S. championship. With a 2:03.803 lap, Woods-Toth held a 0.460-second advantage over his teammate, second place Titus Sherlock (No. 31 Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport Ligier JS F3). Nicolas Ambiado (No. 55 TLink / Allegro Ligier JS F3) was third with a 2:04.500 lap time.

Competitors in FR Americas had a single practice session this morning, which was paced by Woods-Toth with a 2:03.315 lap time. The 20-year-old Canadian had nearly a half-second advantage over second-place Ambiado. Sherlock, who is the most recent winner in FR Americas after taking the victory in the FR Americas Invitational at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, rounded out the top three, just 1.154-seconds behind the leader.
