May 17, 2023 – Just as they did at NOLA Motorsports Park for the opening rounds of both the F4 United States Championship Powered by Honda and the FR Americas Championship Powered by Honda, Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport will be aiming for race wins and podium results in Wisconsin. After a sweep in the FR ranks with Ryan Shehan and Callum Hedge earning the opening weekend victories, the Texas-based effort will bring a total of 12 drivers to Road America across the two race programs.
With six drivers in FR Americas, Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport is at the head of both the Driver and Team Championship. Ryan Shehan will lead the team into Road America on the strength of his NOLA wins while Callum Hedge sits second in the championship standings as he consistently improved his results in the opening weekend. Cooper Becklin will be back with Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport as he sits fourth in the championship point chase, just one position ahead of multi-time F4 race winner Bryson Morris. Manuel Roza and Kevin Janzen are sixth seventh and eighth in the championship standings and will look to move forward with some solid results at Road America.
On the F4 side of the program, Patrick Woods-Toth earned three podium results and currently sits second in the driver’s title chase as Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport has four drivers in the top-seven. With Woods-Toth second, Jesse Lacey sits third on the strength of a second-place finish during race two at NOLA while Lewis Hodgson and Titus Sherlock sit sixth and seventh. Completing the six-driver F4 and 12-driver Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport lineups are Alex Benavitz and PMH Diversity Driver Hannah Greenemeier who are aiming for some solid points in the races ahead.
“We are continuing the season with another big and powerful lineup,” explained Teena Larsen. “We have heard it’s a freshly sealed track and a new challenge for our drivers to perform their best. I have no doubt that they will rise to the occasion.”
With an optional test session planned for Thursday afternoon and an additional one on Friday morning, official practice will begin Friday afternoon. Saturday will break way for qualifying and the first wheel-to-wheel racing of the weekend, with races two and three rolling off the grid on Sunday.
